Gary Donald Meredith was a teletype repairman in the Navy. He joined the Navy to see the world and loved it. His favorite place to go was the Philippines. What got him into trouble was his ship got into port a week early after they had used Agent Orange in that area. He was one of many people that had to fight the problems that Agent Orange caused. He was ever helpful in getting others with the same problem the help they needed.
Gary Meredith was a firefighter from the age of 16. He was on the Union Fire Department and the Dorchester Fire Department. He worked most of his life at Crete Mills in Crete, NE. He had two sons Thomas and Cody Meredith and a daughter Jackie Meredith.
